Everything you need to know about Slash on iPhone.

Is Slash for iOS free?

Yes. Slash for iOS is free, with no subscription and no account.

Which iPhones are supported?

Any iPhone running iOS 26 or later.

Do I need the Mac app?

No. Tasks, Notes, Reminders, Browser, Bookmarks and Calendar work on their own. Deck, Trackpad, Airmouse and Drop need a Mac running Slash.

My Mac doesn't show up in Deck.

Make sure Slash is open on the Mac and both are on the same Wi‑Fi network, or plug the iPhone into the Mac with a cable. Allow Slash to find devices on your local network when iOS asks — without it, it can't see your Mac.

Do I have to enter the code every time?

No. The 6-digit code is only for the first connection; after that the Mac remembers your iPhone. Forget it from @devices on the Mac to pair again.

Wi‑Fi or USB?

Either. Wi‑Fi is always there; with a cable plugged in, Auto switches to USB for lower latency and back to Wi‑Fi when you unplug.

Do my tasks and notes sync with my Mac?

Not yet — for now they're kept on your iPhone. Syncing with the Mac app is on the way.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Your tasks, notes and reminders stay on your iPhone, and Drop sends files straight to your Mac over your own network — no cloud in between.

How do I leave Deck mode?

Tap the screen with three fingers.
